Data protection

We are pleased that you are visiting our Website and that you are interested in our products and services. Protecting your personal data is a matter of importance to us and we want you to feel safe when visiting our Website.
Below we explain what information we record when you visit our Web pages and how that information is used.

Personal data
Personal data are individual pieces of information on personal or factual circumstances of a defined or definable individual. This includes information such as your correct name, your address, your telephone number, your position and your firm. Information not directly connected with your true identity – e.g. the number of users of a site – is not personal data.

Gathering and processing personal data
When you visit our Web pages, it is standard practice for our Web servers to store, for the purpose of system security, the connection data of the requesting computer, the Web pages you visit on our site, the date and duration of the visit, the identification data of the type of browser and operating system, and the Website from which you visit us. Personal data above and beyond that, such as your name, address or e-mail address, are not collected unless you give this information voluntarily, e.g. when registering, in a survey, on a purchase order, for the fulfilment of a contract or a request for information.

Insofar as we use external service providers for individual offers on these pages they are selected with the utmost care from data protection aspects. The scope and nature of the data processing tasks to be carried out are contractually regulated, and the contracted service providers are specifically obliged to maintain the same level of data protection as is customary with us.

Using and passing on personal data
When you register you release your full personal data for the co-ordinating office. The co-ordinating office matches your data with the companies’ situations vacant. If there is a match, your complete personal data are forwarded to the company. The co-ordinating office informs you of the company’s wish to make contact. With executives’ applications, if there are uncertainties about the matching between the post advertised/interested company and applicant, this will be discussed with the applicant before the applicant’s data are passed on to the company. We use the personal data supplied by you to assist you personally, i.e. usually to fulfil the contract concluded with you or to answer your enquiry.
We assure you that your details are treated confidentially in accordance with the applicable provisions of data protection legislation.
Only if you have given us your consent or, if this is stipulated by legal provisions, if you have raised no objection beforehand do we use these data for specific association surveys and marketing purposes.

The use of cookies
We generally do not use cookies on our Website. Only in exceptional cases are what are termed session cookies used, which store data for the technical session control in your browser’s memory. These data are not personal and are deleted at the latest when you close your browser. Should we have to store personal data in a cookie in an exceptional case we will obtain your explicit consent beforehand.
To facilitate more frequent, repeated use of our Website for you we also store a permanent cookie on your computer so that you are recognised during further visits to our Website. You can of course delete this cookie at any time or refuse acceptance using your browser. We wish to point out that generally browsers have cookie management functions.

Security
We take all the necessary technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against loss and misuse. For instance your data are stored in a secure operating environment that is not accessible to the public. Should you wish to contact us by e-mail we must point out that the confidentiality of the information transmitted is not guaranteed. The content of e-mails can be viewed by third parties. We therefore recommend that you send us confidential information by post only.

Right to information
If you so request in writing we will let you know what data we have stored regarding your person (e.g. name and address).
